We, SQS(HK) UNITED DEVELOPMENT CO., LIMITED, hereby declare that all products under the Ovonic brand, including but not limited to lithium polymer (LiPo) batteries and battery chargers, are fully compliant with Section 889 of the U.S. National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2019 (Public Law 115-232).

1. No Covered Telecommunications Equipment or Services

Ovonic products do not contain, use, or incorporate any telecommunications equipment or services produced or provided by the following entities or their subsidiaries or affiliates:

  • Huawei Technologies Company
  • ZTE Corporation
  • Hytera Communications Corporation
  • Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Company
  • Dahua Technology Company

2. No Involvement in Development or Supply Chain

At no stage of design, development, manufacture, or supply are Ovonic products associated with the above-mentioned covered entities or their technologies. Our entire supply chain is managed to avoid the use or integration of any covered equipment or services.

3. No Intended Use in Violation of NDAA Section 889

Our products are not intended for any use that would violate:

  • Section 889(a)(1)(A) – Procurement of covered telecommunications equipment or services;
  • Section 889(a)(1)(B) – Contracts with entities using such equipment or services.

4. Ongoing Commitment to U.S. Compliance
